Concert Times

All the concerts are on Saturdays in the Westmorland Hall, Kendal Leisure Centre. They all start at 7.30pm. Before the concerts marked  ) there will be an informal pre-concert talk, at 6.30pm for about half an hour. Entry is free, and we suggest that you sit towards the front in the middle blocks and then move to your concert seat afterward the talk.

Car Parking

If the barrier is down when you arrive at the concert venue, please take a ticket. However when the concert is finished, you will find that the exit barrier is raised and you will not have to pay – the Society has negotiated with Lakes Leisure Kendal on this.

There are a limited number of “blue badge” spaces. We are sure you will agree that we cannot expect extra places to be kept to the disadvantage of other Leisure Centre users.

Over-flow parking is once again available at Kirkbie Kendal School and Murley Moss – at your own risk.

Additional "Music"

Thank you for switching off mobile phones and digital watches, and for unwrapping cough sweets quietly. We know many people find that sipping bottled water helps suppress a tickly cough.

Publishing Other Events

If you want to publicise another musical event by giving out leaflets prior to one of our concerts, we are happy to co-operate within fire regulations. You must please contact our Secretaries, Dorothy & Martin Grace (015395 68569) in advance - do not just turn up!  You should plan to bring at least four people.
