How to Book
The booking form –
available from
here
–
gives you the opportunity to book for the concerts in the Subscription series
and/or the ever popular Christmas Charity Concert and/or the Family Concert on
19 November.
On Saturday 13 August we will allocate the subscription series seats and
Christmas Charity Concert bookings, though bookings remain open after that date.
Not a Subscriber?
If
you are not a subscriber but would like to come to one of the concerts in the
series, all you have to do is to ring our Membership Secretaries 2-3 weeks prior
to the date. It is possible to obtain tickets at much shorter notice.
Please ring
01539 722533
preferably before 8.00pm. Of course we cannot guarantee availability, but
we will do our best.
Can’t Come to a Concert?
This system only works when subscribers kindly tell us if they cannot come to
one of the concerts. We cannot give refunds for the subscription concerts, but
can sell the seats on behalf of the Society. Please ring the number above as
early as possible.
Season Ticket Prices
The seats
in the Grand Tier are £80 and those in the rows at the front (the Area) £70.
This is unchanged from last season. We are happy to offer a 50% reduction to
those who are 18 years and under. Because of higher postage and other
costs the Membership Fee is increased to £7.
The Christmas Charity Concert seats cost £14. Tickets for the 19 November
concert cost just £3 for those 16 & under; £5 for adults
Tickets for the excellent BBC Philharmonic and Hallé concerts will go on sale when we
publish our newsletter in November. Grand Tier Seats will be £23 and Area seats
£18.
Booking
Arrangements
Subscription Concerts
Please use the booking
form to be found
here.... On Saturday 13 August 2011 we will allocate subscription
seats. Existing subscribers should note that no reminders will be sent! If
you make a decision after that date, still send your booking form and cheque(s) and
we will do our best to help. Existing subscribers will generally be allocated
the same seat(s) as last season unless you write a differing request to us; this
is not guaranteed however as there is a limit to the number of aisle seats!
Payment for the season tickets can be made in two instalments by enclosing two
cheques with your form instead of one. The first will be currently dated and
will include the Membership Fee(s), half the cost of the Season ticket(s) and
the cost of the Christmas Charity Concert. The second, post-dated to 1 January
2011, will cover half the cost of the Season ticket(s).

confirmed details of

quickly, tickets usually sell within a couple of weeks!
Gift Aid
We are most
grateful that so many subscribers, who are automatically members of the Lakeland
Sinfonia Concert Society, indicated that we can claim Gift Aid on the
Membership Fees.
In addition many people who bought
tickets for the Christmas Charity Concert allowed us to claim Gift Aid on that
portion of the ticket price that makes up the contribution to the charities -
approximately half the amount.
If you pay Income or
Capital Gains
Tax at least equal to the tax we reclaim (currently 25p in the £), please tick
the box on the booking form.Thank you.
